In part 1 of this special two-part session, we will discuss University of Maryland’s I-Corps program, why many startups fail, and explore the customer hypothesis including customer segments, roles, profiles, workflows, and more.
This session is led by Glen Hellman, University of Maryland I-Corps instructor & program manager, and executive coach. Mr. Hellman is a member of the faculty of the University of Maryland, A. James Clark School of Engineering, where he instructs, mentors, and coaches UMD professors, research staff, postdocs, and graduate and undergraduate students, on commercializing research and technology-based businesses.
This session will be conducted via WebEx. A member of the bwtech@UMBC team will send attendees the WebEx link prior to the session. Since the event is virtual, lunch is on your own.
Part two of the session will be held on May 4, at bwtech@UMBC South Campus.
