Join the Maryland Delegation at Startup Grind Global Conference

Startup Grind is holding its global conference April 23-24 in Silicon Valley CA. Startup Grind is the largest independent startup community, actively educating, inspiring, and connecting millions of entrepreneurs worldwide through events, media, and partnerships. Startup Grind assists millions of entrepreneurs build businesses, connect with strategic partners, and secure funding.
The Maryland Department of Commerce is sponsoring a delegation of six companies to exhibit at the event and participate in the conference; we are coordinating the selection of exhibitors as well as promoting and marketing this program and the companies selected.
Types of Companies They Are Looking For:
- Based in Maryland
- Fewer than 50 employees
- Truly innovative product and demonstrated track record of success
- Potential to scale nationally/globally (potential annual revenues of $100+ million)
- Preference for companies currently scaling
- A founder or senior executive with excellent presentation skills who can travel to CA for the conference
- Ability to fund travel expenses related to event participation
- Industry sectors: tech or tech-enabled, any sector except food or consulting services. Please note that this conference is not focused on life science companies.

Applications are accepted through Sunday, February 18. Interviews with the Maryland selection team will be held on Tuesday, February 27 and Wednesday, February 28, with invitations to exhibitors extended the following week.
