Yesterday, bwtech had the pleasure of hosting the Woodlawn High School Entrepreneurship Experience Camp, organized in partnership with the Baltimore County Department of Economic & Workforce Development.

The visit featured a lively panel discussion with seasoned entrepreneurs: bwtech clients Tasha Vanzie (Agile Care) and Dexter Carr (Game4Good), and bwtech Entrepreneurs in Residence (EiRs) Chris Ewing (Rev&) and Chris White (Nexsys Labs).

The panelists shared their experiences with entrepreneurship and fielded many thoughtful questions from the highly engaged students. The students gained meaningful insights on:

  • Common startup obstacles
  • Financial planning
  • The power of networking
  • Workplace culture
  • Skillsets and mindsets that drive innovation
  • How to lead with efficiency and impact

Huge thanks to Karl Shively, with Baltimore County, our incredible panelists, the amazing Woodlawn team, and the fantastic rising professionals from Woodlawn High! Your curiosity, energy, and ambition made the day unforgettable. We’re excited to see where your entrepreneurial journey takes you next!
