Natáur is transforming high-value sulfur ingredients from synthetics to clean biologicals. Thousands of today’s sulfur-containing ingredients are made from petrochemicals, which have negative human, animal, and environmental health impacts. Natáur, an experienced scientific and commercial team, offers its customers an alternative to the petroleum supply chain by producing ingredients using a proprietary bio-based process and manufacturing capability. Our first product is BioTaurine—a blockbuster ingredient with high demand. Taurine is an essential nutrient for brain development, healthy aging, heart health, microbiome balance, and skin health. Currently, almost all the taurine is made from petrochemicals. Natáur produces taurine with renewable resources by fermentation. Our process does not use hazardous or toxic chemicals, and it does not use animal parts or leave residual metals. Our technology uses harmless microbes as factories to produce BioTaurine from sugar and natural compounds. Natáur’s BioTaurine is safer, sustainable, and eco-friendly.

RedShred was formed in 2014 from lessons learned at SSG, a commercial and government IT contractor owned by Jeehye Yun.
