On May 15, bwtech hosted an introductory lunch for pQCee, a pioneering quantum cybersecurity company officially joining our community through the Maryland Department of Commerce’s Global Gateway – Soft Landing Program. We’re thrilled to welcome pQCee to bwtech, where startups are tackling some of today’s most pressing technological challenges.

Headquartered in Singapore, pQCee develops cutting-edge post-quantum cryptography (PQC) solutions designed to protect businesses against emerging cybersecurity threats in the age of quantum computing. As the demand for advanced digital security rapidly grows, pQCee’s expansion into the U.S. represents a major step in forging new collaborations in the region’s robust tech innovation ecosystem.

The event featured remarks from pQCee’s Co-Founder & CEO, Dr. Tan Teik Guan, and Co-Founder & CFO, Loh Chay Hiah, who shared insights into the company’s mission and vision for growth in the U.S. The lively group of attendees included regional tech leaders, ecosystem partners, and economic development champions—all eager to explore ways to support pQCee’s successful U.S. entry.

Special thanks to the Maryland Department of Commerce for making this partnership possible through the Global Gateway Program, which provides critical support for international companies exploring expansion opportunities in the U.S. market, specifically in Maryland. As a proud program sponsor, bwtech offers international entrepreneurs office and lab space, access to expert mentorship, and a powerful innovation network designed to help them scale.

We’re excited to keep building momentum through collaboration, innovation, and a collective vision for a safer, more intelligent digital future!
