This past June, bwtech client Benjamin Broedel, President & CEO of Athena Enzyme Systems, traveled to Boston as part of the Maryland Department of Commerce delegation to the BIO International Convention.
At the conference, Ben explored international partnerships for bilateral manufacturing deals as well as in-licensing, co-marketing, and distribution partnerships.
The convention delegation—including Maryland leaders Lieutenant Governor Aruna Miller, MD Commerce Secretary Harry Coker, Jr., Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich, and Fredrick County Executive Jessica Fitzwater—was an outstanding example of public-private partnerships driving success for individual businesses and regional economic development.
