Home to more than 45 companies specializing in life science, clean tech, advanced manufacturing, and engineering, the Biotech Incubator@bwtech helps young businesses start, grow, and stay in Maryland.

Featuring 165,000 sq. ft of office and lab space, including over 40,000 sq. ft of wet lab space, this nationally recognized life science and technology business incubator is equipped to meet the needs of companies of all sizes. 

Companies and employees have access to UMBC campus amenities and enjoy a convenient location only minutes away from Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport, downtown Baltimore, and federal agencies in the Washington, D.C., corridor. The Biotech Incubator@bwtech contains conference rooms, labs, training centers, and spaces that are adaptable to the needs of any company. It’s where early-stage companies can find the resources and space they need to test, develop, and commercialize their research.

UMBC

CyberTini

bwtech@UMBC regularly hosts C-level cocktail social CyberTini featuring panel discussions with experts in fields ranging from life sciences technologies to clean tech and cybersecurity. These events allow entrepreneurs to gain valuable insight from industry movers and shakers while exploring potential networking opportunities.
