AthenaES anticipated a business disruption due to the COVID-19 pandemic and produced a three month supply of products. Realizing the need, AthenaES repurposed their manufacturing to produce hand sanitizer. They supported first responders and front-line teams at non-profits who were suddenly tasked with providing mental health care, shelter, and food. AthenaES creatively used crowdsource funding and raised about $2,800 to pay for some of the materials and supplies and the company covered the rest. Over 250 liters of hand sanitizer were delivered which protected over 200 police officers and workers providing crisis intervention, food, and shelter for the homeless, shut-ins, and food pantries. Their story was captured in the Baltimore Sun.

Thank you AthenaES for all of your hard work and keeping our communities safe and healthy!
